Lovely wooden objects...
Once upon a time I used to spend a lot of time making furniture and products out of timber and since then I have had a thing for wooden objects. It's a visual and tactile texture that I am fond of and it is also a memory of the smell that timber releases when you cut it, sand it or polish it. Since starting anaca studio I have relinquished the making of my furniture to some skilled manufacturers and I sometimes miss working with timber, seeing it taking shape. Maybe one day I'll allow myself to have a small workshop again and make some of these beautiful wooden objects. In the meantime here a small selection for your Christmas list...
Petites cuillères doseuses from Neest, Mote boards from Sandsmade, L'Oiseau from Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec (from Space Furniture), Oak Birds from Kristian Vedel (from Top3 by design), Wooden cups and trays from MrKitly and Fasett Flower Vessel from Stämpel.

I also love the warmth of wood and how it ages with time. I also hope you get a little (or big) workshop sometime in the near future.
