Like many people yesterday, I couldn't resist visiting A Day on Earth: David Bromley's studio on Chapel St Prahran today. The studio was open prior to the auction of the whole collection of objects, furniture, paintings and other works of Art that live in the place. I have found the experience quite surreal actually, it is rare thing to be immersed into the world of an artist... and I sure would love to give a new home to many objects and a few paintings too! I wondered through the rooms many times, didn't really want to leave in fact. I have a feeling this auction will be an immense success... Hope those who couldn't make it there will enjoy the few snapshots from my phone camera (although they are of average quality... due to my still average phone!)...
