anaca studio - New products are out!!

As promised here are the pictures for anaca studio's new products - the shoot is the result of a great collaboration between Nik Epifanidis for photography (don't forget to check his blog too: here), Sharon Orgad (Stylisti blog) and myself for the styling. These are just few of many more great shots. Real hard to pick and I still have a few up my sleeve...

I actually feel a real sense of achievement now these little guys are out and beautifully photographed. Maybe it's time I pat myself in the back... 

Displayed from top to bottom are: Mr Cross tablesTall and Small with Phileas Pouf - Phileas floor cushions small and large and Elliot Coat stand - Mr Cross small table and Elliot Coat stand - and last... but one of my favourite shot, Zoe side table. (all specs here)

Photoshoot: anaca studio products

As usual I can't help myself and just want to share the photoshoot from the week-end. These are just snapshots taken from my (mediocre!) phone camera for another "behind the scenes". 

It was a full day of moving furniture (lucky I don't have large items yet!), styling, changing our minds, restyling, adjusting, readjusting, disagreeing then agreeing, picking up lavender (being chased by bees... well some of us!) to add greenery to the shots... We were all exhausted at the end of it but I'm absolutely thrilled and can't wait for the processed shots! Although I might agonise again on which ones are the best to pick from... Much harder to make these decisions when it is your own products. 

Thank you Nik (click here for his website) for working on a week-end for me and being most patient and Sharon for your keen eye for detail and styling advice (check out her beautiful blog on Stylisti and her cute range of stationary on Nollison). You guys are the best!

Phileas Floor Cushion

A quick snap of Phileas Large Floor Cushion at "the White House"... in anticipation for the big shoot at the end of the week with Nik Epifanidis. It has been a long time coming, product development is never quick enough, so many details to iron out. This is almost the hardest part, you want your product to be out there but at the same time things have to be right. Design, proportions, detailing, manufacture... so I really can't wait! Stay tuned, a few new products are coming your way!

The pretty things of Nancybird...

It all started with THAT quilt (just above left) on Nina Proudman's bed (yes, you Offspring followers would know what I'm talking about...) and why didn't notice Nancybird before, who knows... Anyway now I have and I am very into it. 

It is inspiring to see a local brand growing to where it is at now. On top of beautifully designed products, lovely patterns, subtle colours... they have a great environmental awareness which I think you can't go without these days. It ticks all the boxes and above are a few of the products that have caught my eye...
